Hi, I’m Shilo! I’m a personal trainer and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach. I offer 1-on-1 personal training, small group training, strength & conditioning, functional training, corrective exercise, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu–inspired functional training, along with supportive nutrition guidance.

My training style is focused on free weights and functional movement, with a strong emphasis on learning proper form and understanding the why behind each exercise. I believe that when you truly understand how your body moves, you gain confidence—not just in the gym, but in everyday life as well.

I believe that even the things we don’t enjoy at first are often what help us become better— and learning to find meaning in that process is where real change happens.

At the core of my approach is helping clients feel capable and comfortable working out on their own. I want you to leave sessions knowing why you’re doing what you’re doing and feeling empowered to keep progressing independently.

I especially enjoy working with women who want to get stronger and with older individuals who need guidance to keep their bodies healthy, mobile, and resilient. I became a personal trainer because I’ve been in the place of wanting results but not knowing where to start, and I love helping others break out of that same rut.
